How the Human Body Works

The human body is an incredibly amazing machine with hundreds of strong muscles and strong bones and the smart brain that controls it all. But, we will be talking about the mighty muscles and how you can keep your muscles healthy and strong.

In your body you have around over more than six hundred muscles. When you smile you use 15 muscles, and when you frown you use around 40 muscles. When you walk you use 200 muscles!.The biggest muscle you have is your gluteus maximus.

This paragraph will be about building muscles it takes a lot of effort to build musles   you need you eat right kind of foods like eggs,meat,fish and cheese.Also you can get protein from nuts and soybean.One more thing your body can't grow new muscles but you muscles can grow bigger.

The more you use your muscles the bigger they get.

This paragraph will be about your mighty muscles and how they make you work. Muscles pull your strong bones to make different part of your body work (move.) Your Muscles can pull but they can’t push. They work

Eggs of an sea turtle is a size of a small ping pong ball. the mother goes to the top of the beach and lays the eggs the mother lay 1000 eggs a year the mother lays 50 - 200 eggs in one spot	An adult sea turtles climbs up a beach to lay 1000 eggs.  First she digs a hole, so that she can lay the eggs in it. Then the eggs hatch and try to make it to the water but sadly only 400 make it to the water. Dear Zoo Keeper,

I am writing to you to offer my opinion about my enclosure I am kept in.

First, I am going to tell you about my very tall trees.  I have a lot of tall trees to climb, they are as tall as the sky tower, and I can play hide and seek in them. Service in the zoo is amazing. I feel like I’m in zoo heaven. Also, can I please have a bowl of water?

But, as always there are cons with everything, so I am going to tell you them.  I don’t like the thick glass because I would like to be able to interact with the people more. If I had a fence that was glass, but a little lower, I would love you even more.

The weird friend part 2

In front of Lina was Jessica but she didn't look normal she was a vampire.Lina was so frightened she almost jumped out of her skin."What do you want?" asked Lina "oh you don't know me?" said Jessica "Its me your new friend" Lina was confused."But your a vampire" cried Lina "i'm here to destroy the human race and then us vampires will take over" shouted Jessica she put hand cuffs on Lina's hands "the police will get you"shouted Lina back " oh no they won't i'm a vampire remember." Jessica had left Lina started crying then she herd a noise a slight roar "NO"......

The zoo

Today for a school trip we went to the zoo. It was for some writing we were going to do this term. First we got off the bus, it was raining though.  We headed to the entrance of the zoo. When we got to the entrance we split off into our groups. We headed into the zoo and started looking at our animals. Jasmine and I did some research on the red panda.  It was raining heavily, so we went to the place where animals go if they are sick or hurt. My mum said that we were going to look at the animals. And then sit down and write about our animals. So we ate some morning tea and then we went.When we were outside I thought to myself “this is going to be a long day”. We went to the otters first. And then we went to the animals that are more ahead in the zoo. Soon enough it was lunchtime, so we stopped for a quick snack. My favourite animal I saw was the meerkat because we stopped by the enclosure where the meerkat saw us and kept a close eye on us it was halarious and it was so cute. Then we had to go so we met at the zoo entrance. When we went out of the zoo I could smell the rain I could see the bus, hear the animals saying goodbye, taste the wet ground and I thought to myself “I can’t wait to come here again.”

My swimming lesson

Today at swimming I got assed because I hand' done it the last two weeks.After I got assed the lady told me I was in lane four last year I was in lane three so I improved.I was a bit nervous when she told me that I was in that lane.

Once upon a time there was a girl called Lina she was a nice,kind,caring,helpful girl she was 13 years old her friends were Jewel,Ruby,Izzy and Lila.Then one day a new girl came along her name was Jessica Lina and her friends became friends with Jessica then one day Jessica asked Lina if she wanted to hang at the mall at 10:00 that night so Lina said yes.It was 10 that night and Lina was at the mall she didn't see Jessica but somthing strange happened she saw.....

            This is a story about a wish like no other it is a wish that might change a girls life.

Once upon a time there was a girl called Jewel she was different than most people she was rich because her dad was a famous actor.but her friends weren't rich they had a normal amount of money that a family needed.But even though she was rich she sometimes felt bad for her friends but her brother Adam had friends who didn't care that he had more money than them they cared that he was a nice friend.So one day something strange happened to Jewel some weird person stood in front of her she screamed HELP me.....

If everybody lived on a different planet?

If everybody lived on a different planet the planet would be called Pro world.It will be called Pro world because everybody is good at everything and nobody would feel left out.At school nobody would have to do much because you were all ready a pro at it.The teachers let the kids play all day and in the weekend the kids went on holidays,Rainbows end,went to see their grandparents and had 4 night sleepovers.But sometimes people felt like they weren't special because everybody could do the same thing and they were all at the same level.So thats why I'm happy with who I am and that I can do some things other people can't do and thats what makes me special :)

Around Pinehill School

      One Winter’s day...

One freezing morning,I could see someones smelly sock soaking on the floor it was pink and white.Then I went outside it was chilly,I could hear the wind as if someone was talking to me.I went to touch the rough bumpy brown bark then I could hear a little caramel brown sparrow.Then I went inside and I could hear teachers talking.I went to the playground I could see children happily playing on it it made my day.I went to touch the smooth green leaves on the creepy denuded tree.Although it was cold,chilly freezing winter morning it was a magnificent day (expect for the smelly sock bit).

Scared, I said goodbye to my nice mum I was a little bit excited for my first day of school.

Slowly, I hopped into the yellow bus and waved to my amazing, mum.

Then the bus driver started the loud engine and we started moving as slow as a sloth then as fast as a cheetah.

I slowly hopped out of the big yellow bus to my hard working class.

Happy, my teacher told us her name “Miss Lister.”

Sad that my mum wasn’t there I had to do art which was fun then we did writing that was fun too but then we did the dark the evil the devil of all school subject MATH!!!!.

I screamed and I got told off

I said “sorry” to the teacher she said “thats ok we do easy maths anyway” my face was as bright as the sun and I cheered “YAY.”

At the end of the day my mum was there to pick me up I was as happy a puppy with a brand new chew toy “did you have fun today?” and I shouted “YES!” then we went home and I had a nice cup of lemonade and after that I went for a swim in my pool.

The next day I was sick so I couldn’t go to school I was as sad as a 15 year-old girl who got dumped by her boyfriend but any way I played school at home I did art,math,writing and reading by the end of the day I was super tired so I had dinner and went to bed at 6:00.

My cat Maui passing away

Last year my cat Maui died well she didn't die she had to be put down.Maui had to be put down for many reasons 1.because she had very bad skin problems 2.because she was getting very old 3.it was the best for her cause it would be bad for her to keep on having flea treatment.So one day my dad had to go to the vet so they could put her down.When my dad came back he told us everything like they when gave the shot she was just lying there like she was asleep.When my dad told us this we were very upset and my dad said we could make a grave for her or turn her into ash and keep her ashes.So we decided to turn her into ash and keep her so we got a bag that was brown it had her name on it with a ribbon and inside was a little box with her ashes in it.We made drawings for her put it in the the cupboard where her bag is.But she will always have a special place in my heart.

What if it was your birthday was everyday?

If it was my birthday every day, I would want a party every 2 weeks on a weekend.I would eat lots of cake but not to much or I'll get fat.I would invite my friends Sarah,Brie,Jasmine,Keeara and me (Amber.) I would get lots of presents but I would give some away because I don't need all of them.Also it would be no fun because we wouldn't have Christmas,Easter and ANZAC day.Plus It's more fun  just one day a year :)

This week on Monday we played squash.We went in groups and did warm ups first i did throwing balls across and into the air.Then i did some warm ups with a ball and racket.This week on Tuesday afternoon we had house captin meetings only year 6's are allowed to go for house captin.My first day on 2015 was cool but we didn't do much work we mostly did easy stuff like learing names and playing a game called the name game.At school we do this thing called fitness i think we do it so we get warmed up for the day.We have this thing called the pinehill way it means we care,share,be kind,help others heres a picture.
